Culture Radar has been commissioned by ANGUSalive and the Angus Place Partnership to deliver the first Cultural Strategy for Angus to run 2021 - 2026. The strategy will draw on the region’s unique strengths and assets and present an ambitious cultural vision for Angus. We are keen to involve people and voices from across the region in this process.
There has been growing recognition of the value of culture and the importance of cultural activity in people’s lives, in our communities and to our sense of place and identity. Having a regional plan is an important way for Angus to acknowledge and drive this.
On behalf of our partners we are conducting a mapping exercise to identify and better understand the full range of cultural venues, events and organisations based in the Angus region. The information you provide will inform early stage development of the first Angus Cultural Strategy.
We will ask you to fill in just one page of simple questions about each cultural venue, event or organisation. If you can tell us about several cultural venues, events or organisations, you will be able to fill the form in multiple times. Don’t worry if you don’t know all the details – just give us as much as you can and leave the rest blank. If we get duplications, no worries, we’ll sort that out at our end. Feel free to forward this on to a colleague if they would be the best person to fill it in, or to someone else that works in the sector locally.
