Thank you for participating in the 2015-2016 Cambridge Middle East and Africa Alternative Finance Benchmarking Survey, conducted by the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance, Cambridge University Judge Business School.

Focusing on crowdfunding and peer-to-peer lending activities, this survey aims to collect aggregate-level data to measure the size and the growth of the alternative finance markets across the Middle East, North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa between 2013 and 2015.

The 2015-2016 Middle East and Africa Alternative Finance Benchmarking Report will be published in September 2016 and distributed freely to participating platforms, government agencies, financial regulators, industrial trade associations, business communities and major media outlets. Our past reports on the UK, Americas, Asia Pacific and European markets have received world-wide mainstream media coverage and policy attention.

The survey is supported by the FSD Africa, GVEP, Allied Crowds, LendIt, Crowdfund Capital Advisors, CME Group Foundation and Crowdfund Insider

The survey consists of 15 questions and should take approximately 10 minutes to complete, although it may require you to look up or add up figures from your business's activity. Please note, any question with an asterisk (*) is compulsory while all others are optional.

All identifying information concerning your platform will be stripped from the analytical processes and findings will only be presented in aggregated form (e.g. by country, state, year and models). After the survey is completed, your data will be encrypted and stored safely to ensure the continued anonymity and confidentiality of participating firms. Only the research team will have access to the research database.

All participating platforms will be prominently acknowledged in the benchmarking report with their logo displayed and all findings will be presented in aggregation (e.g. by model and country). Should you have any questions concerning the survey or the final report, please do not hesitate to contact Kieran Garvey (kjg44@cam.ac.uk) or Tania Ziegler (tz285@cam.ac.uk) directly.

If you wish to have your platform's logo included in the final report, please send a high resolution logo with the name of your platform to kb562@cam.ac.uk.

Please proceed to the questionnaire on the next page. Thank you.
