NHS Scarborough and Ryedale is responsible for identifying and buying a range of health services on behalf of 119,000 residents in our area.  These health services include:
  • Planned hospital care, such as operations.
  • Unplanned care, such as urgent and emergency care.
  • Care provided outside hospital, in the community.
  • Mental health and learning disability services.
  • Medicine and treatment.
To ensure the services we commission meet the needs of local people, we are committed to giving you the opportunity to hear about our plans and get involved in how they are developed.

We are currently looking at the adult autism and ADHD assessment and diagnostic service and your feedback will:
  • Help inform the service specification and ensure that the service meets the needs of the local population.
  • Increase awareness and understanding of autism among frontline professionals.
  • Develop a clear, consistent pathway for diagnosis in every area
Improve access for adults with autism to the services and support they need
  • Enable local partners to plan and develop appropriate services for adults with autism.
The North Yorkshire Autism and ADHD Assessment Service is presently provided at The Tuke Centre, York and patients are referred by their GP or other health professional for assessment and diagnoses.

We would be very grateful if you could take five minutes to complete the survey and provide us with your experience whilst accessing the service.

The survey closes Friday 7th September 2018.  Your feedback will help us to ensure that the services we commission for patients in the future is the very best it can be.

Thank you for your time.
