Thank you for participating in the 2017 Asia-Pacific Alternative Finance Industry Survey.

The 2017 Asia-Pacific Alternative Finance Industry Survey is being collected jointly by the Cambridge Center for Alternative Finance and Cambridge Judge Business School, the Tsinghua University Graduate School at Shenzhen, Tsinghua-Berkeley Shenzhen Institute, and the Australian Centre for Financial Studies (ACFS) at Monash Business School.

This study builds upon the success of our inaugural report, "Harnessing Potential" and will highlight the size, growth and key market trends of the online alternative finance market across the asia-pacific region.

The data collected will be handled with confidentiality and all data will be aggregated into a final report scheduled to publish in May 2017. The aggregate report will be disseminated freely across government, regulators, trade associations and major media outlets to inform policy and raise public awareness of alternative finance.

The survey is supported by The CME (Chicago Mercantile Exchange) Group Foundation and 20 leading alternative finance industry and academic research partners across the Asia-Pacific and beyond, including Wangdaizhijia, Zhongguancun Crowdfunding Union, Hujintonxunshe, P2P EYE, Xeenho Internet Financial Institute, the Crowdfunding Institute of Australia, LendIt, Crowdfund China Society, Hong Kong Crowdfunding Association, New Zealand Crowdfunding Society, Japan Crowdfunding Council, Crowdfund Asia Association, Korean FinTech Forum, ShengZhen Crowdfunding Association, Change Fusion Thailand, World Crowdfunding Conference, Crowdsourcing Week, Crowdfund Vibe, FinTech Hong Kong, the Asian Venture Philanthropy Network (AVPN), the CrowdfundInsider, the Nagoya University, the University of Amsterdam and the Ahmedabad University.

The survey should take approximately 20 minutes to complete, although it may require you to look up or add up figures from your business activity. Please note, any question with an asterisk (*) is compulsory. All participating platforms will be given the option to have their logo displayed in the final report; all findings will be presented in aggregation (e.g. by model and country).

If you have any questions, please contact Professor Zheng (zheng.xinwei@sz.tsinghua.edu.cn), Kieran Garvey (kjg44@cam.ac.uk) and Hungyi Chen (hy.chen@jbs.cam.ac.uk)
