Action on Hearing Loss (formerly RNID) is currently developing a plan to expand the charity's face-to-face information service and is preparing a major UK-wide bid for funding to support that work. Our proposal is to scale up and roll-out our existing volunteer-led face-to-face model, providing targeted information and support to older people in their local communities.
The key aims of the project are to:
- support older people to take action to address their hearing loss
- support older people to better manage their hearing loss
- work with health, social care and voluntary organisations to enable them to better support older people with hearing loss.
