For the conference, we build up a programme of over 400 CPD sessions covering Early Years to A-level and teacher training. Proposals are welcome from both ASE members and non-members and from seasoned presenters or those new to sharing their practice.

Sessions can include:

- Showcase a new resource
- Provide updates on subject knowledge
- Present research approaches and findings
- Examine assessment
- Launch an initiative or new programme

Everyone is welcome to submit a session idea. If you have an interest in science education and have something to share, then we’d love to hear from you.

Type of session While you can change the details of your session after the deadline please state now the type of room you need for your session. There is a choice in the form of lab, seminar room, PC suite or tiered lecture theatre. There is high demand for seminar rooms so please do select lecture theatre if your session's presentation can be adapted to suit this format.

Audio-visual (AV) Equipment, Computers and Science Apparatus  - You are asked to detail required audio-visual equipment when submitting your proposal. Most seminar rooms are fitted with data projectors but you may need to provide your own laptop. Please give your full lab requirements in this proposal submission. There will be the opportunity to update your requested AV / lab equipment but the more details you can give us early on the easier it is to make sure we allocate you the correct room. Deadline for all equipment requests 6 November 2017. You can download a separate equipment request form.

Health and Safety - All presenters are reminded of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974. All contributors have a responsibility to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of visitors to the Conference.
