The St James Street Big Local is a resident-led organisation that was given money by the lottery to make improvements to the St James Street area.

We'd like your views on how money should be spent in the area.
 
Over the past few years, the St James Street Big Local projects have included:
  • giving money to schools during lockdowns for tablets,
  • installing trees and plants on local streets,
  • paying for some of the murals and street art you see around the neighbourhood,
  • organising carols.

Unfortunately, We can’t:
  • build houses
  • clean the streets
  • improve street lighting etc.
This is the job of the local council.
