Animal assisted eco-therapy
A number of projects nationally are now using animals as a means to improve the health and wellbeing of local communities, collectively known as ecotherapy.
One option for the HIVE is that we utilise some of the existing infrastructure from the former Animal World to keep bees and chickens – both as a mechanism for ecotherapy and as an education and training tool for members of the public interested in keeping chickens and bees.
