Firstly, have a think about how you would like to volunteer. The roles we have available are:
Registration - Taking the names of arrivals on Thursday afternoon/evening, and directing them to the main field. You'll also be able to introduce arrivals to DKMS representatives if they're happy to register.
Car Park - Welcome arrivals and direct them to park in the designated parking area for check-in, and then on to the main parking field. You'll need to help guide cars to orderly parking spaces so as not to block others in.
Kitchen Assistant - You may have seen that our chef has his work cut out! He'll need help getting food prepared and ready to cook.
Pot Washer - Load up the dishwasher trays, and put everything away clean. You'll likely need to wash some larger items used by the chef by hand.
Waiter - Take out food orders, and keep the dining area tidy.
Bar Person - As well as serving drinks, you'll be taking food orders each day until 9pm. You'll be given training on the till if you haven't used it before.
Barback - The Bar Person's best friend. You'll be manning both bar areas to keep the area tidy, collect and wash glasses, and clear up spills. Only required beyond 9pm.
We'll take you through the various roles in the order above, and if you're interested, just tick as many time slots as you are available for. We'll assume you will only want to do one shift, unless you tell us otherwise at the end of this form.
