Thank you for entering the SMP 2016 Youth Award.  This award is open to any young Scot under the age of 24 who is engaged in an inspiring Malawi link.

All those who enter will be promoted on our website, at events and on social media.  It’s a great way to raise awareness of your work, build new links, and celebrate your achievements.

The winner from this award category will be announced at the SMP’s 8th October AGM in Glasgow and will:
·         receive a trophy and a special prize from Malawi;
·         be profiled on the SMP website and on social media; 
·         be given the opportunity to give an inspiring three-minute presentation about their work to hundreds of our members and partners.

Winners will also be featured in associated media work and will be able to use a special award emblem on their website and publications if they wish.

Tell us what you do and what you’ve achieved but also tell us what makes your partnership really stand out – what drives your work, what are your values, and what makes the partnership so impactful.

Tell us why the Global Goals are important, if there is one in particular you’re working towards, and what you’re achieving.

Choose one of the 11 principles and tell us why your partnership is a shining example of this principle.

Finally, to complete your nomination, please email Jackie@scotland-malawipartnership.org to either submit a photograph or a one-minute video about your Malawi partnership.  If submitting a video, be sure to tell us not just what you do, but how your work is driven by dignified partnership.  If you want, Jackie can offer advice, information and practical assistance helping you film a video.  If requesting assistance with filming, please email Jackie by the end of August.
