Epping Forest District Council and Essex County Council are working in partnership to combine the museum and library buildings in Sun Street, Waltham Abbey.
The new Centre will include attractions and spaces for early years, improved access to local heritage, spaces and services to support health & wellbeing, spaces to socialise, and an offer for all age groups to access leisure, learning, culture and the arts.

We want this new Community & Cultural Hub to become the ‘go to’ place for local residents, helping to support the regeneration of Waltham Abbey town centre through new and additional footfall to Sun Street. We welcome your views to help develop the proposals.
