4D Baby Scanning Clinic - research

This survey is aimed to new expectant parents who plan to use private baby scanning services in conjunction with the NHS scans offered at 12 & 20 weeks, and to parents who have used private ultrasound clinic.

Private 4D baby scanning clinics provide a variety of scanning packages to suit all stages of pregnancy, such as early pregnancy scan, a wellbeing check or a 4D scan.

All scans are aimed at providing expectant parents essential information about the health and well-being of their baby, as well as giving them the chance to bond with your unborn baby.

The survey will ask questions around you view of using these types of services.

* 5. There are a number of services you can use in a private baby scanning clinic.  One of the services we wish to provide is 2D reassurance scan between 6 to 10 weeks. This scan is designed to check how your pregnancy is progressing before your scan 12 week NHS.

How likely do you think you would use a 2D reassurance scan?

* 6. Another service available would be a Wellbeing and Gender scan. The scan is designed to provide expectant parents with the opportunity to find out the sex of their baby from just 16 weeks of pregnancy (4 weeks before the NHS).

* 7. The third available services is a Bonding & Wellbeing scan. This scan is designed to provide expectant parents with the opportunity to meet and bond with their unborn baby from just 16 weeks of pregnancy. 

This scan doesn't offer gender reveals so ideal for those expectant parents who don't want to know the gender of their baby.

* 9. Another service is NIPT Screening & Early Pregnancy Scan.

NIPT Tests (commonly referred to as the Down’s Syndrome Test or Harmony Test) are designed to provide expectant parents with the opportunity to identify the probable presence of Down’s Syndrome, Edwards’ Syndrome or Patau’s Syndrome, as well as indicating the possible sex of your baby (if requested), from just 10 weeks of pregnancy.
