The Landscape Architects at Groundwork East have been commissioned by North Herts Council to co-ordinate the redesign of the Skate Park in Hitchin, King George V Park. The aim will be to refurbish and expand the current skate provision, understand the local skaters 'wish list' and to tender an expert contractor to create the skatepark.

We shall be holding an in-person consultation between 3pm and 6pm on the 22nd May 2023 by the Skate Park/Rugby Club, Old Hale Way, Hitchin SG5 1XL.

Come along on the day and let us hear your views. We shall also be creating a 'design team' from interested local skaters to ensure we get the best result. So please do fill out the survey below and leave your contact details at the end if you wish to be involved. You may also upload any example inspiration images of elements you would like to see included (please see Q22).
