Sixth Form Induction
I am writing to invite your child to our Induction Day at the Sixth Form on Thursday 7th and Friday 8th July 2022 from 9:30am until 2.30pm.
During the day they will have the opportunity to spend time with other students who have been offered a place on their courses in September completing team building activities. They will be introduced to the difference in the depth of knowledge, work ethic and level of challenge in being a Sixth Form student.
There will also be the opportunity to sign up for a laptop for when they start their course in September and to their preferences / interest in enrichment activities for September.
In addition, there will be a workshops introducing elements of core study where they will have a choice of path e.g. EPQ – Extended Project Qualification, Core Maths, Duke of Edinburgh Award, TEFL and Young Enterprise will be running an employability masterclass.
We will provide students with lunch between 12.30 and 1.15. I hope they will be able to join us for this event. To enable us to cater and plan appropriately, please complete the reply survey.
Students need to provide an email address to receive a link to the Young Enterprise digital course and should attend in 'smart business' dress eg shirt with collar and trousers
