Brief

Thank you for taking part in this survey, conducted by the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women, focusing on the challenges, achievements and motivations of women entrepreneurs in low and middle income countries in 2022.

We want to hear about the challenges you face, your motivations as an entrepreneur and what changes need to happen in your community and wider entrepreneurial ecosystem so that your business can thrive. This year, we want to hear about the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, economic challenges and unpaid care work.

The results of this survey will be included in a major report which will be shared with international policy makers including the UN, national governments, media and donors in 2023. The report will have clear recommendations in order to help change the system to work better for women entrepreneurs. The findings will also be used to inform the Foundation’s services for women entrepreneurs.  As such, your participation will be extremely valuable.

The survey should take you no longer than 15 minutes to complete. It is written in English and we ask that you also respond to the questions in English. The deadline for responding to this survey is Wednesday 7th December 2022. We would also like to encourage you to share the survey with other women entrepreneurs in low and middle income countries.
