Health inequalities in Devon |
Background
We are asking VCSE organisations and community groups in Devon to please complete this very short questionnaire about health inequalities. It should take you approx. 5 minutes.
Health Inequalities (the gaps between different groups of people in terms of the health they can expect and enjoy) have been increasing and further exacerbated by Covid.
Addressing health inequalities underpins many strategies in health and social care and is a priority for the new Integrated Care System.
This questionnaire has been designed by Devon Communities Together to:
- Gather information from the VCSE sector about relevant work in Devon tackling health inequalities
- Assess the level of understanding in the VCSE sector regarding how current work links to addressing health inequalities and where to find data and information
- Find out if VCSE organisations/community groups are interested in being part of a Devon Voluntary and Community sector Tackling Health Inequalities action group
The information gathered will be fed back to Devon Public Health and other stakeholders in Devon addressing health inequalities.
Funder of this research: Devon County Council. Responsible for the Contain Outbreak Management Fund (COMF): Devon Voluntary Action (DeVA)
