Our vision is to see more of Derbyshire’s land go ‘back to nature’. Wilder spaces in every garden, street, village and town can help create vital new connections for wildlife.

Our survey is your opportunity to share your local wildlife knowledge, your opinions and your wildlife sightings can give us valuable information about the area you live in, and how much local people care about nature.

We are encouraging anyone with access to a patch of land to get involved, whether you have a window box, a garden, or simply know a neglected road-side verge that you could focus on.

As you can see from the illustration below, helping rewild your patch of Derbyshire is a key step in reversing the devastating loss of wildlife that has happened over recent years across Derbyshire’s villages, towns and open country.

Thank you so much for participating, and for helping us get to know your local area!
