Cobham Village Partnership aims to deliver a vibrant, inclusive & environmentally friendly village centre in Cobham; expanding, enhancing and rejuvenating our existing open, public and pedestrian spaces.
How important are these themes to you in respect of our village?

·       Improve the environmental, amenity, educational, and health benefits of the Leg of Mutton field;

·       Extend & enhance the look, feel & use of Hollyhedge Road area;

·       Create an attractive and environmentally friendly shopping centre for our community and businesses.

* 3. Regarding the Leg of Mutton field, we would like to improve and add to its environmental, amenity, educational, and health benefits by:

Enhancing its accessibility from Holly Hedge Road and the car park;

Replacing the existing heavily used skate park facility with an updated version;

Creating a community, walking trail around the field;

Incorporate spaces for social interaction and quiet contemplation, including appropriate trees & benches.

* 4. Regarding Holly Hedge Road, we would like to extend & enhance the look, feel and use of the existing Holly Hedge pedestrian area, by:

Extending the pedestrian area outside the existing shops; develop a shared car/pedestrian space along the remainder of Hollyhedge Road.

Creating an attractive market-place location with trees & benches with secure storage for bicycles.

Install a pedestrian crossing to connect the Leg of Mutton field to the Carpark and the village itself; providing a focus for access to new and existing footpaths and open areas.

Rejuvenating pedestrian areas within Cobham (e.g. Oakdene Parade, Anyards Road, High Street and Church Street) by:

1. Planting trees, improving and remodelling existing planting areas;

2. Installing more seating, communal and covered areas;

3. Improving pavement and pedestrianised surfaces.
