Support for people who provide support and care for others

In 2016, Healthwatch were commissioned to engage with people who provide support and care for others in the North East Hampshire and Farnham area. Healthwatch spent three months speaking to people in the local area which resulted in a detailed report containing a number of recommendations from people providing support and care for others. The full report can be seen on our website:

As a result of this work, the Clinical Commissioning Group, who commission some support services for carers, have asked Healthwatch to do further, more detailed, engagement to understand exactly what services people need.

The findings from this new round of engagement and this survey will be used to influence the decision making process for the CCG and ensure that the voices of local people are a significant consideration in any new commissioning decisions. If you live in Hampshire and provide support or care for family, friends or neighbours then we would like to hear from you.

This survey contains 22 questions and should take no more than 10-15 minutes to complete and all responses will be anonymous. If you have any questions about this work or would like to speak to a member of the team please call us on 01962 440262 or email
