A Code of Conduct for Digs Providers

Now that members have accepted the offers from UK Theatre on the Subsidised and Commercial Theatre Agreements, we need to start work on the next phase of our Dignity in Digs campaign.

Our first step is the creation of a code of conduct for digs providers to sign up to. This code will set out minimum standards that Equity and theatres will expect digs providers to agree to before they can be included in a venue's digs list - and will mean greater peace of mind for you when you stay somewhere that has agreed to implement the union's code of conduct.

We are therefore seeing your views on what this code should include, and are asking you to share your priorities with us.

Please contact Equity's Industrial Official for Theatre, Charlotte Bence, with any queries: cbence@equity.org.uk
