Welcome to South Centra£ Decides.  This is a participatory budgeting approach used by the South Central Neighbourhood Partnership.  It is an opportunity for local people to have a say in how budgets are allocated in their local area.

This approach will disburse £60,000 from the roads capital aspect of the Neighbourhood Environment Programme 2017/18.  You are being asked to prioritise how you think the money should be spent.  The purpose of the fund is to deliver improvements in roads and pavements in the South Central area that are not currently already prioritised within the Council's programme of work.

You will be asked to consider 10 different projects with a total value of £396,600 that have been suggested by local people or community groups.  You must score each project between 1 and 5.  The lowest score you can award a project is 1 and the highest score you can award is 5.

You must score ALL projects to take part.

At the end of the process all the scores awarded to each project are added together and the projects are then ranked in order of the highest to the lowest.  The budget is then allocated against each of the projects in that order from first to seventeenth place, or until it is depleted.
