What It's All About

My name's Tim Clare and I'm writing a book about anxiety and panic - chiefly, my experiences of managing severe versions of both long-term, and my attempts to dig into what we know and get better. I'm very aware that my experience is just one of many, and I'd really like to know how other folks relate to anxiety and panic, whether they're sufferers or not.

The survey should take no longer than 10 minutes to fill in. It's just a few simple questions, to give me an idea of how others are feeling.

This is a completely unscientific survey, for me to get a taste for the issues, interests and experiences of other humans out there. I won't use it to claim x% of people think y about anxiety, or whatever. It's non-representative data rather than hard stats.

It's anonymous. I don't want to know who you are, I won't collect any identifying information, but it's worth being clear that answers ARE NOT CONFIDENTIAL. I might not use any of them, but it's possible I will draw on elements of this survey when writing my book. If there's anything you don't want to answer, just leave it blank. Anonymity means I can't fact-check answers, obviously, but if I quote anything at a later date I'll make sure to elide any potentially identifying details. If you change any details, please note that you've done so.

It's very important that you don't fill this in if you're feeling very low, you don't have support round you, and you feel that reflecting on distressing memories might retraumatise you. The survey isn't inherently distressing but please trust your own judgement if you're not sure about doing it.
