Aldeby Parish Survey

As you may be aware, last summer Aldeby Parish Trust disposed of some land at Stanley Hills in order to raise funds for the purchase of Old School Playing Field.  There are still funds remaining for improvements to parish facilities, but we will need to apply for further funding from different charitable bodies in order to boost our funds.  As part of the application for funding, we have to demonstrate that our residents support any plans for improvements, so it is vital that as many people respond to this survey as possible. Please be realistic when giving us your ideas - we are only a small parish and our funds are relatively modest when compared to the cost of robust play equipment, for example.  However, we have big ideas for our playing fields and lots of enthusiasm, and are working currently on plans for the Sole Bay Wood project, which will create a fully accessible wildlife area, to include a conservation pond, by the wooded section on Old School Playing field. This will include pathways going into the woodland, allowing full wheelchair access for those with disabilities and will benefit anyone using a pushchair or those with general mobility issues.  We hope you agree that this will be a worthwhile addition to parish facilities.

Please let us have any thoughts, ideas and suggestions you may have to build on these initial plans, or feel free to come up with something entirely different.
