Are you interested in being part of a new Craft Collaborative for crafters in Oban and its surroundings?

The idea is to rent a shop on a monthly basis in Oban, fill it with local crafters work, and run it together.
As this is a collective, everyone is expected to contribute both in time and money. There are always things that can be done by someone.
The cost is could be as low as £20 a week per crafter (minimum a calendar month; options to share with other crafters may be possible) to cover costs : rent; insurance; advertising; electric; wifi; credit card facility; equipment, associated memberships etc. The more crafters that join in, the lower the costs can be.

What can you help with to support the shop?
This is a collective, totally self financing, run by ourselves. Everyone will be expected to help in some way.

Being part of the Committee to oversee : Finance / Publicity / Legalities / Marketing / Chair

Responsible for the Stock and Book-keeping (this will be a weekly ongoing role)

Part of team Putting out posters and leaflets in B&B's guesthouses, shops, attractions (we need to cover everywhere we can from Glencoe to Tyndrum to Ardfern)

Part of team Finding and Adding information to online publicity locations

Part of team Helping to admin and populate Facebook / twitter / Instagram / Pinterest etc each week

Staffing the shop regularly : from 2 hour slots to all day cover

Staffing the shop occassionally : from 2 hour slots to all day cover.

Publicity - radio, press, articles, etc.

Cleaning the stock and shop
