Good Home Agency Survey
Last year, as part of the Good Home Inquiry, the Centre for Ageing Better carried out extensive research to try and find workable, realistic solutions to improve the millions of poor-quality homes in England. Our research strongly suggests that many people are keen to make improvements to their homes, but don’t know where to turn or who to trust for support and advice on how to do it.
One of the potential solutions identified by the Inquiry was the development of a network of ‘Good Home Agencies’, building on the positives of existing home improvement agencies – delivered locally but supported as part of a national framework. At its core a Good Home Agency would act as a hub or single point of contact providing access to information and advice, finance, home repairs, adaptations, and energy retrofit service.
We’re now working to pilot this in partnership with Lincolnshire County Council.
We want to hear from you – understanding what is happening in your area will help us identify and share good practice, as well as where we may best offer support in future.
This survey should only take 5-8 minutes to complete.
All the data collected as part of this survey will be anonymised before sharing the results with those who have responded. The survey will close on Friday 13 May.
