Cumbria Safeguarding Children Partnership (CSCP) have implemented three area safeguarding groups (Allerdale & Copeland; Barrow & South Lakeland; Carlisle & Eden). The purpose of these groups is to bring the work of the CSCP Board closer to frontline practitioners in order to be able to learn from and improve safeguarding practice. The groups run on a 6 monthly cycle and undertake work looking at the CSCP’s priorities. Each of the three groups undertakes consultation with frontline practitioners as part of this work.

The first of the CSCP’s priorities the groups are reviewing is ‘Improving child protection and safeguarding practice’ with a specific focus on child in need. With that in mind the area groups would appreciate you taking the time to complete the short survey below to feed in your views on practice in relation child in need. Your input will be used to shape the delivery plan for this area of practice.

The survey can be completed anonymously. We just need to know the area of the county you work within so the information can be shared with the relevant area safeguarding group.
