Cumbria Victim and Witness Survey

The Cumbria Police and Crime Commissioner and Safer Cumbria are constantly working to improve the services and support for victims and witnesses as part of our key priorities for “Putting Victims First”.

We would very much like to hear and learn from your experience with the criminal justice agencies in Cumbria, and be very grateful if you could share your personal experience and thoughts in this survey. We will use the information to inform our efforts to ensure victims and witnesses get the support and services they deserve.

Taking part:
  • Your participation in this survey is entirely voluntary. You are not obliged to respond to any questions that you are uncomfortable answering and you may stop the survey at any time.
  • If you choose to take the survey, you will be asked to answer some basic questions about your experience and your satisfaction with the support and services offered to you.  This will take about 10 minutes to complete, or may be longer, depending on your involvement in the criminal justice system.
  • The survey is completely anonymous: no information will be collected that will lead to the identification of either you or your family.
  • Your answers will be used for research purposes only and your decision about whether to take part, and the answers you give will have no effect on the services you receive or may receive in the future from the criminal justice agencies.
Thank you for your time and your willingness to participate.
