Survey to discover which Developers created illegal Doubling ground rent leases.

On 19th March 2021 the Competition & Marketing Authority wrote to Taylor Wimpey and Countryside developers outlining concerns that their use of leasehold terms which doubled ground rent every 10 to 15 years or sooner breaks consumer protection law.
CMA is requiring the removal of ground rent terms from ALL existing contracts.

This survey is to discover the extent of this issue AND if any other developers are also breaking the law by using similar leasehold terms.

Please complete this simple survey to help us gather data and calculate the number of leaseholders caught in the doubling ground rent trap, and which developers created and sold them.

Responses are anonymous.
NB: Only one response per property. If you have multiple doubling leases you can enter information using a different device eg another mobile; a laptop; a desktop; an iPad.
