Oxford Brookes Business School (OBBS) wants to understand the demand for higher-level (postgraduate) management and leadership apprentice programmes in the region.

The new apprenticeship system (Levy, Standards etc) provides increased flexibility in funding postgraduate study, enabling organisations to invest in staff at higher levels than previously available.

Our current understanding is that there are 3 general employee groups that may benefit from these developments:
  • ‘School Leavers’ – new employees that will study for a degree whilst at work (OBBS already offers a Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship through its partner college arrangements)
  • ‘Graduate Training Schemes’ – new employees traditionally recruited after completing university who can now undertake a postgraduate qualification (e.g. MSc) whilst at work
  • ‘Management & Leadership Development’ – existing employees with extensive experience who would benefit from further development, either for organisational improvement or career progression who can now undertake a postgraduate qualification (e.g. MBA) whilst at work
We want to understand if these groups coincide with organisation’s needs, and if there would be demand for programmes to support these group if OBBS developed them.

We would be grateful if you could complete this short (maximum of 8 questions) questionnaire in order for us to help support local organisations to develop their employees and improve performance.
