Help make sure disabled people's voices are heard during Covid-19 response

We are doing this survey
- to find out what GDA members and disabled people need during this Coronavirus outbreak
- to understand what can be done by GDA and others, to help people stay safe, well and connected
- to make sure disabled people's voices and experiences are heard throughout this crisis.

We would like to hear from as many disabled people as possible, whether you are an existing GDA member or not.

To fight the spread of Coronavirus, everyone in the UK has been instructed to stay at home at all times, except for basic essentials, medical needs, supporting a vulnerable person, essential work (if this can't be done from home) or exercise once per day. We must limit the time spent outside our homes and stay 2 meters away from others outwith our own household.
Anyone over 70 or who has a pre-existing health condition, could be more vulnerable to Covid-19, so huge numbers of disabled people are advised to be very careful following Social Distancing guidance to keep themselves safe. People with some health conditions, such as cancer or severe respiratory conditions, are particularly at risk and are advised to stay home for up to 12 weeks, following 'sheilding' guidance for their own protection.

We know that this situation will be concerning for many if not all GDA members and disabled people in Glasgow. At this difficult time, GDA will do our utmost to help you access the information and support you need to stay safe and well.

The information you share in this survey will help us better meet our members’ needs, and help inform the government how they can best protect and support disabled people during this crisis.
We will not share your name or personal contact details with anyone - unless you wish to be referred to support and services.
