Community 'what's on' or online diary survey

We are interested in making it easier to find information about community/voluntary groups, and their activities, events etc. in our area.

We are considering setting up an online community led diary or ‘what’s on’ calendar.

The purpose of this survey is to find out the level of interest and support for this idea and more specifically whether community groups would participate in adding their information.

We are aware that not everybody has access to computers, so further ideas about sharing information in other formats will be explored – but collecting information is the best starting point.

‘We’ are a group of community volunteers who have come together to increase good communication without our local community. We were formed after a community event in February, at which over 60 people/organisations attended and identified strong communication and links in the community as being vital.
