By April 2021, North Lanarkshire Community Planning partners will be launching new community plans for our nine community board areas:-
  • Airdrie (Wards 8, 9 & 12)
  • Bellshill (Wards 14, 15 & 16)
  • Coatbridge (Wards 7, 10 & 11)
  • Cumbernauld (Wards 2, 3 & 4)
  • Kilsyth (Ward 1)
  • Motherwell (Wards 17, 18 & 19)
  • Northern Corridor (Wards 5 & 6)
  • Shotts (Ward 13)
  • Wishaw (Wards 20 & 21)
The plans will outline the agreed priorities for the area, and provide details on the improvement actions which have been identified.

Community participation in the process is crucial, and we are keen to involve as many local people and organisations as possible.

As part of our programme of engagement with the wider community, we are very keen to find out your views about your where you live. This survey is open to all, and is one of several ways that we engage with local communities and stakeholders.

This survey is designed to be a quick capture tool for finding out about community issues and opportunities for improvement. There will be a much more in-depth place based survey launching in January 2021.

The information gained from the survey will be used to provide our community boards and our community planning partners with early views from local residents. Together they will review all available information and data and will then co-produce the locality plan for their area.

Before the final plans are launched, we will provide local residents and communities with an opportunity to review and comment on the plans.

Your views and opinions are a very important part of the process, and we appreciate you taking the time to complete this short survey.
