Family Court TOIL Survey 2016

Dear Napo FCS Member:
Thank you for undertaking the Napo Time Off in Lieu (TOIL) survey. This is being run through SurveyMonkey as we seek to get the most open and honest responses, unfettered by fear of identification.
This survey arises from a 2015 Napo Family Court Section AGM motion, which highlighted the concerns from members about the number of hours worked to complete casework.
Cafcass had recognised that staff are working over their hours. This was reported to the Board in a report on the time recording exercise which ended around January 2015.
The motion was passed unanimously and required the Section Executive to:
- gather information about hours worked over 37 per week from members.
- share these findings with the employer to seek to raise awareness of the detail of the number of hours worked
and not claimed back in TOIL,
- seek to record these hours on itrent
- ask for the TOIL and overtime policies to be renewed
- report back to Napo membership
If you would like to share more detailed information, please email Nicola Kenney at napo.fcs@gmail.com   Please put 'TOIL' in the subject line.  This will be shared with the Section Executive Committee and we can guarantee your anonymity.
