During the current COVID-19 Pandemic, we are pleased to be able to provide free internet devices and data for people in need if they meet simple qualifying criteria.  We currently have grant funding to help people living in Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire with devices, data and digital skills training.

Our work is funded by Cambridge City Council, Cambridge City Homes, South Cambridgeshire District Council as well as donations from individuals, businesses and trusts.  We have laptops, tablets, 4G SIM cards, and Mobile Wi-Fi devices available.  Most equipment is new – some is refurbished.  Most equipment is given out permanently, while some is provided on loan.

Families and individuals can apply to us directly, or we can accept agency referrals.  This short form will help us to see what help would suit each situation.

We want each person or family to receive the specific help they need to get online, so we have a range of options available in order to help as many people as possible. The equipment includes new and refurbished computer tablets, laptops, and 4G internet connections.  These are available in combination to help each situation.  There are no cash grants available – the help given is in the form of equipment provided to each person or family.  All recipients will also have access to the Cambridge Online training and digital skills help line via phone and email.

This form can be completed by applicants themselves, or by somebody making a referral on the applicant's behalf.  If you prefer, you can call us on 01223 300407 to provide these details by phone, or request a paper copy.  The phone line is open Monday to Friday 9.30am to 3.30pm.  At other times you can leave a message and we will call you back at a time to suit you.
