Consultation Survey

In September 2020 businesses will be asked to vote as to whether they would like the proposed Redcliffe & Temple BID to go ahead.

As part of our ongoing consultation, we would be grateful if you could take five minutes to complete this short survey. 
Your feedback is very important to help us define the priorities for the BID. 
The development of the Redcliffe & Temple BID is based around three themes:
- Promotion and Events
- Improving the Public Realm
- Working together

Position the area as Bristol’s ambitious business destination, promoting the area and the businesses within it.
Initiate a programme of events to animate the public spaces and waterside areas.
Provide a single point of contact for businesses to raise concerns and address issues (e.g. issues relating to re-development, roadworks, etc.)
Encourage more retail and leisure outlets to open
Introduce staff loyalty / discount schemes for retail outlets
Introduce initiatives to reduce crime and improve staff safety (e.g. a police liaison officer, wardens or ambassadors)
Influence the council’s policies relating to planning and transport
Establish a joined up Corporate Social Responsibility initiative to make it easier for businesses to support the local community
Arrange networking opportunities to allow best practice to be shared
Create a business ‘community’ helping staff to access activities to increase well-being (e.g running clubs, gardening, etc.)
Promote public transport options and liaise with the council regarding bus stop and taxi rank provision
Deliver cost reductions for businesses by 'bulk buying' services such as waste and recycling.
Work with Bristol City Council to improve public space in terms of pedestrian routes, signage, lighting and air quality.
Improve the cleanliness of the area
Introduce more greenery, planting & trees
Introduce seating areas that can be used by staff in the summer.
Work with Bristol City Council to improve cycle routes, parking and secure storage facilities.
