GCS Shadow Board your application

The Government Communication Service GCS Shadow Board will:

- Provide an executive forum to hear from alternative voices that represent Modern Britain and better inform the actions and implementation of decisions through GCS governance bodies

- Support the GCS commitment to build an inclusive profession offering home grown, diverse talent the opportunity to participate at an executive level.

The Board will act within the GCS governance structure to act as a sounding board, provide constructive comment and advice to the Directors of Communications group.

You will need to demonstrate:

• A good understanding of government communications your department’s communications structure and objectives
• Be passionate about communications and committed to sharing best practice; and
• Be able to commit to up to three hours every two months until April 2017.
