If you've repeatedly been denied contact with your child(ren) by an ex partner, please complete this
Parental alienation is the psychological manipulation of a child which creates unjustified fear, disrespect or hostility towards a parent or other family members.
The effect (and often the intent) is to make a child reluctant to have contact with a normal healthy-range parent and, ultimately, to destroy the natural attachment bond the child has with their other parent.
It is caused through a pattern of alienating behaviours by one parent (often after high-conflict divorce or separation) that can be extremely damaging to children's mental and emotional well-being. The mental health of the alienated parent can also become seriously affected.
If you have children aged under 16 and are currently affected by this, please can you complete this short survey.
