A coalition of charities have come together to review implementation of the Accessible Information Standard for the five year anniversary of the policy. This coalition includes SignHealth, HealthWatch, Royal Association of Deaf People, Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB), Learning Disability England and Sense.

The Accessible Information Standard is comprehensive and key to ensuring equal access to healthcare, but is it being followed? This survey will provide insights into what has improved and what still needs to be done to reduce the health inequalities experienced by those with additional communication needs.

There are videos of British Sign Language (BSL) translations of each question included throughout the survey.

Please contact Abigail Gorman if you have any questions or would like to access this survey in an alternative format - agorman@signhealth.org.uk

The data collected will be stored and used by the Deaf health charity SignHealth. You will not be asked to provide your name or to identify the NHS service for which you are responding. To find out more about our commitment to data protection, please see SignHealth's privacy notice.
