Transition from child to adult mental health services

Healthwatch are the independent champion for people who use health and care services. We find out what people like about services, and what could be improved, and we share these views with those who have the power to make change.

Youthwatch Darlington are a group of volunteers aged 14 to 25 who work with others and aim to improve health & care services for young people in the area.

By sharing your views with Youthwatch Darlington, they will be able to help by sharing your experiences with local health providers and commissioners (people who pay for services) to help them understand what they need to do to enable you to have greater choice and control over your care, and for you to be supported when moving on to adult mental health services. 

We will always make sure that your information is protected and treated securely.
