A Human Taphonomy Facility (HTF), more well known as a 'Body Farm', takes donated human bodies and leaves them to decompose under various different environmental conditions that are relevant to the investigation of crime.

There are currently 7 HTF's in the United States, 1 in Australia, 1 in Canada and 1 in Amsterdam.
