Digital Culture in Modern Languages Teaching and Research
The aim of this survey is to collect information about the ongoing teaching and research in digital cultures in Modern Languages in the UK, and the interest that exists in undertaking research or teaching in the field.
"Digital culture" might include born digital arts and cultural artefacts such as electronic literature, net art, blogs and websites, platform-based creative work, web-based popular culture, or the social, cultural, and political implications of digital technology in the given target language and culture.
We are here focusing on the culture-specific study of these materials, rather than their purely instrumental use for language learning purposes.
