Waterways Ireland would like to invite you to provide input into the development of our new Heritage Plan.  Our current plan, which ran from 2016-2020, ends this year. Throughout this period we have partnered with State Agencies, Non-Profits, Educational Institutes, the Heritage Boat community, biodiversity advocates, community groups and other stakeholders to deliver a myriad of heritage focused projects.  Without their assistance this plan would not have been as successful; for this we are very grateful.  Since 2016, over €500,000 has been invested in delivering our Heritage Plan.  Below you will see just a selection of the projects.  A comprehensive review will be published this Autumn.

This questionnaire is the first step which Waterways Ireland are undertaking in preparation of their new plan and aims to meaningfully engage and consult with all our stakeholders.  Your early participation in this process is invaluable.  It will aid in understanding key heritage issues that will inform the development of strategic objectives and actions.
