We invite you to participate in a study that aims to document and explore examples of ‘shallow’ through to ‘deep’ levels of impact upon the public and academics that the Intrepid Explorers platform has had within the domain of Climate research.

We would like to hear from all members of the Intrepid Explorer’s community, from the presenters (students, academics, explorers) through to our attendees (teachers, students, academics). This will enable us to explore the impacts of the Intrepid Explorers’ tales, from the ‘shallow’ impact (e.g., one of 10,000 individuals spending minutes browsing the Intrepid Explorers website), through to ‘deep’ impact (e.g., where an individual has heard a story and been inspired to develop a research project, or perhaps even make major life or career changes as a result).

This survey has been designed for those that have presented in an Intrepid Explorers event. If you have also attended an event  please fill in this survey, we'd love to hear your feedback.

This research will help us to further develop Intrepid Explorers as a platform and will be used as evidence of impact.

Participation is voluntary and anonymous. If you have any questions, please contact intrepidexplorersHQ@gmail.com. If something goes wrong, or you would like further advice, please contact The Chair of SSPP ethics committee rec@kcl.ac.uk.

By taking part, I acknowledge that the information I give may be made available to other researchers in an anonymous form, and be published. Copies of these reports can be made available to you if you wish, just contact us with a request. Any data you give will be held in data protection act compliant ways. Any data you give can be withdrawn at any time up to 1 December 2016.

This research has been approved by King's College London ethics committee (Ref: MR151622)
