SENRUG Public Meetings

So far, we've not had any Public Meetings during the Pandemic, but we're keen to work out how we can best provide a service to our members and supporters, and whether you would find an "online" meeting useful.

* 2. Once the special restrictions in place in the North East (preventing more than 2 households meeting together) are lifted, if SENRUG held an in-person meeting at Morpeth Town Hall or similar venue, would you come?

Definitely.

Only if I was satisfied that social distancing measures (ie chairs 2 meters apart, one way pedestrian flow, and speakers behind perspex screens) were in place.

I wouldn't feel safe coming during the current COVID pandemic, so I would give it a miss.

I don't come to SENRUG Public Meetings anyway.

* 3. If SENRUG held a Public Meeting on ZOOM, enabling you to see and hear the speaker, and to ask questions, would you participate? (You can use ZOOM from a desktop computer with a webcam and speakers, a laptop computer or tablet (which have webcam or speakers built in) or from a smartphone - ie a phone that connects to the internet and can take photos).

Yes I would participate - and I have used ZOOM before.

I have not used ZOOM before, but I would try to participate. I might need some instructions in advance.

I'll try to participate, but I'll need someone such as a relative to help set my computer up first, to give me confidence.

I don't feel comfortable using Zoom so wouldn't participate.

I don't have a computer with webcam / laptop or smartphone so couldn't participate.

* 4. If SENRUG held a Public Meeting on FACEBOOK, enabling you to see and hear the speaker, and to ask questions by typing your question into the Facebook Comments, would you participate? (You can use FACEBOOK from any computer with separate or built-in speakers - you do not need a webcam, or from a smartphone. You do not need a Facebook account, though using Facebook without an account means you may not be able to submit questions.

Yes I would participate - and I have already used Facebook.
