1. Health and Social Care (Quality and Engagement) (Wales) Bill

The Health, Social Care and Sport Committee is currently considering a proposal by the Welsh Government for a Bill about quality and engagement in health and social care.

One of the proposals in the Bill is to establish a Citizen Voice Body to represent the interests of the public in respect of both health and social services.

Community Health Councils (CHCs) currently carry out the functions set out above, but in relation to health services only. The Bill proposes to abolish these existing CHCs and to replace them with the new Citizen Voice Body.

The Committee would greatly appreciate if you would share your views on this proposal through completing this short survey. You don’t have to answer every question. The survey should take about 5 minutes to complete.

Your views will help inform the Committee's scrutiny of the Bill.
