History for Change network survey |
Tell us your thoughts and help us shape our new community history network
History for Change is a planned new network (subject to funding at the moment) for everyone with an interest in transformative community history in the North East of England. It will be a place to share ideas, find collaborators, gain skills, and hear about funding opportunities. The network will give a platform to community-driven projects that explore contentious or diverse histories, use history to shed light on current social issues or challenge entrenched perceptions of the past. Together we will raise the profile of local heritage, reach out to new audiences and build a new, rich and diverse picture of the history of the North East.
Membership of the network will be free to all. You can get in touch and help us shape the network by taking 5 minutes to answer the questions below. We want to hear from anyone who has an interest in community-driven history including community groups, charities, historians, artists, academics, heritage professionals, curators and anyone else.
Please also share our flyer (download here) with anyone you think might be interested.
