Invitation to attend workshop for the study assignment “Towards a 2030 Vision on the Future of Universities in Europe ”.

Introduction
The European Commission’s Directorate General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD) is delighted to invite you to attend a workshop to shape the development of a 2030 Vision on the European Universities of the Future. The workshop is part of an assignment undertaken by the Centre for Strategy & Evaluation Services (CSES) and Coffey Consulting on behalf of DG RTD.
The workshop will take place in Brussels on 4th March 2020 at the Hotel NH Brussels Bloom, Rue Royale - Koningsstraat, 250, 1210 Brussels
Purpose of the Workshop
The discussions will focus on:
(1) Moving towards a strategic vision and operationalising the transformation modules; (2) Governance and the role of higher education institutions’ policies; (3) Open Science and open data; (4) Academic-business cooperation; (5) Strengthening human capital in universities; (6) Research and Innovation infrastructures and digitisation.
Why have you been invited?
You have been identified as a high-level strategic thinker in the areas expected to be covered in the vision. Accordingly, your travel expenses to attend the workshop and hotel accommodation will be reimbursed. CSES will provide guidance on the travel costs once you have registered.
