Barnet Cultural Education Partnership

The newly launched Barnet Cultural Education Partnership aims to provide a rich cultural education for every child and young person in the borough.

As part of the initial stages of development, the BCEP would like to know more about Barnet Schools’ in-school cultural provision and engagement with arts and cultural partners, so we can work strategically to support schools to partner with cultural organisations in the borough and develop the cultural capital of their students.

The purpose of this survey is to review how best the BCEP can support schools with developing the cultural capital of their students in line with the new Ofsted framework which states ‘inspectors will consider the extent to which schools are equipping pupils with the knowledge and cultural capital they need to succeed in life.

If you’d like to hear more about the BCEP, please email cep@artsdepot.co.uk or sign up to become a member (free of charge).
