Background Information
This research aims to explore whether a smartphone application can enrich Rufford Country Park experiences by offering a digital alternative to paper-based trials and provide location based historical facts. The app-based trial provides the opportunity to explore the park while also participating in interactive experiences such as tapping and scanning various elements of the park.

What you will be asked to do:
Use the developed mobile application around the Rufford Country Park following the trail and using the interactive elements.
You will be asked to use provide feedback and opinions on the app and how it could impact your experience of the park.

Important Notes
It is NOT compulsory for you to take part.
You can withdraw from the study at any time without providing a reason.
All information will be stored anonymously and no individual data will be reported in the findings of the study.
The study has been approved by Nottingham Trent University’s Ethical Advisory Committee.


Benefits of the Study
The overall aim of this study is to assess the feasibility of a mobile app to enrich the park. Ultimately, this app hopes to improve visitor satisfaction and engagement by providing location relevant information and interactive activities when exploring the park.

Confidentiality
Your contributions to the project will be treated with confidence. Your questionnaire answers will be held and used on an anonymous basis. Only researchers involved in the project will have access to the questionnaire results. If you request it, you will be supplied with a copy of your on-line questionnaire results. Your data will be held in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. You will not be personally identifiable in any of the outputs from the research.
