eBANS review

Survey purpose
The British Artificial Nutrition Survey (BANS) Committee collects, analyses and reports on data to support BAPEN’s work streams and the charity’s ambition for every individual to receive safe, timely & appropriate nutritional care in every care setting, every day.

eBANS is the national database used by BANS to help monitor trends and outcomes of home enteral tube feeding (HETF). The steady decline in eBANS data submissions has prompted a review seeking to better understand current opinion about eBANS and the future of a central registry for HETF patients. We would very much appreciate you taking the time to complete the following survey and contribute to the review.

Who should complete the survey?
Anyone involved with home enteral tube feeding including clinical staff, clinical service managers and those involved in data collection, entry or management. This is regardless of whether you have used eBANS or not.

How long will the survey take?
The survey should take between 5-10 minutes to complete.

How will my data be used?
Your data will be anonymous and your answers will contribute to the review process of eBANS. Your anonymous data may also be used by BAPEN in a variety of ways including but not exclusive to social media, reports, publications or presentations or for educational purposes.
